Easily my favorite pod!

This is my favorite podcast of all time! These ladies have such amazing chemistry and listening each week is like catching up with friends while enjoying Kristin’s storytelling! The episodes are very well written and keep me hooked each week. Mogab is so freakin cute and relatable and hysterical. Love you ladies!!

Love this show!

I’ve been listening to the show for a few years now and am hooked. I started because I was looking for information on a true crime that took place in the town where I live. Now it’s one of the best parts of the week, when a new episode drops. I continue to look forward to these well researched and informative takes on the stories and lives of those that I have never heard of. I’ve turned everyone in my friend group on to the show as well. Teachers, SAHMs, engineers, artists, and writers… we all love how entertaining the show is! And my boyfriend is now hooked and a fan as well! We all love talking about the episodes and how genuine the relationship between Kristin and Mogab is. So many of Mogab’s one liners have been added to our own group chats! These two are so likable and relatable, like two more friends in the group. I would encourage anyone who loves true crime, down-to-earth lighthearted humor and quick whit, and overall just a good time, to go ahead and listen to this podcast. Oh and they hand out discounts left and right on awesome products… and ya girl here loves a discount!

Too Many Ads

Having to skip through 5 minutes of ads three times per episode seems a little money-hungry to me when you’ve already got an expensive Patreon, but otherwise a pretty good podcast

Love it all!!

The hosts are great, their banter and personalities, and their story telling. I binged the entire pod over a few months and can’t wait for more!! I am so happy to have stumbled on this pod. It’s my new favorite and surpasses other crime pods I have in my rotation.

Love these 2!

I have loved this podcast since it’s inception. I’m not one to usually leave reviews; but after reading a few of the negative nellie reviews- I just had to say something. Just in case anyone needs this explained to them here it goes: if you want more in-depth coverage or never before heard information, don’t rely on an hour long podcast to fill that need. IT’S A FLIPPIN PODCAST, ie it’s for ENTERTAINMENT (and entertaining it is!). Perhaps my biggest pet peeve a History/Historic preservation major are people who feel the need to humble-brag that they have a college degree. OMG they have a Liberal Arts degree they definitely know so much about about the world, and should totally insult random podcasters on what they are doing wrong (I’m sure anybody with an English Lit degree will understand that last sentence was sarcasm, but just in case-that was sarcasm). This podcast is funny. It has good information, keeps cases that are unsolved talked about, they have great banter, and I can tell they are great friends. I think they are awesome. I will keep listening to it. We all have choices in this life. You can choose to listen to this podcast, you choose not to listen to it; but leaving a humble-braggy, passive aggressive review of a random podcast is probably not the best choice to make.

Not gonna lie, I came here to read Liz’s review 😂 BUT I have been listening to you guys since the beginning and I absolutely love this podcast! I love the dynamic between Kristin and Mogab… they are both so funny. The stories are interesting, well researched, and well told. I feel like you guys would be my besties irl! ❤️🦝

l LOVE THIS PODCAST!!

I was looking for a case the other day when I stumbled upon this podcast, so I decided to start from the first ever episode. Kristin is what everyone’s idea of the perfect bestie is and Mogab is literally me, I catch myself asking questions at the same time or saying “oh” when she does cause it makes sense lol even though a few of these cases I have already heard, I got so much information even I didn’t know. Thank you guys for doing what you do! I 10/10 recommend this podcast if you are looking for entertainment and a true crime

True crime lover

Quickly became obsessed with Kristin and Mogab! Love the banter. Love that Mogab knows barely any true crime stories and love her reactions. Even though I know most of the stories, I love getting extra details from Kristin.

Well Researched

It’s obvious that Kristin does a great deal of research for each episode. The incidents are well reported and obscenities are rare. I think I might have heard one obscenity once and that is unusual and much appreciated when compared to other podcasts where the f word is used for every other word. Not only does Kristin cite her references, she thanks them for the work that they did. Nice work!

Hooked!

Stumbled upon this gem of a podcast by way of their Mickey Shunick episode - wow. You feel the hosts’ genuine frustration, anger & sadness, and the humor is organic, inoffensive & quite frankly, needed. Looking forward to bingeing past episodes & hearing their take on both familiar and unfamiliar victims & their stories.

Amazing!!!

I was recommended this podcast from a friend about a month ago now and I am hooked! The respect and love given to each of these episodes/cases is so genuine. Listening to Kristin and Mogab makes me feel like I’m listening to MY friends because the commentary and questions are what I’m literally thinking at that moment and are so well thought out! Thank you for the information and attention to detail for each case! (Side Note: Since I started listening to the episodes in chronological order, I find myself wondering what Kristin and Mogab’s thoughts are on TSwift’s new album and if Mogab is actually working at the Waffle House 😂)

Absolute Fan!!!

I have been listening to this podcast since the beginning. I love it and I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts. Why have I never given a review before you ask, well I did not have an iPhone until now. So I’m very excited to finally be able to give them the review they deserve. I can’t wait until every Thursday when the new episode comes out. So happy for Kristin and Mogab on how far they’ve come with this podcast. Keep doing what you’re doing, ladies!

Horse J*zz Facial at the Waffle House

I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, and I’m really picky about them. When I first stumbled on TCC, I was expecting another passable true crime pod hosted by two educated young white women who have good chemistry. I got that and more. They have a beautiful balance of humor and respect, hot takes and objectivity, personal anecdotes/tangents and deep focus on the topic at hand. They really understand what works in a podcast, and every week since that first discovery, I’ve enjoyed the ride, and appreciated their approach. Until today, I’ve been a freeloading, non-patreon-subscribing, non-review-leaving weed who appreciated and consumed the content but never felt compelled to comment or contribute. But this is what occurred to me today as I listened to this story about America’s worst case of municipal fraud: only these two could pull this off. I spent an hour of my busy life absolutely rapt. About municipal fraud. I was envisioning the mini-series. Who would play Rita? WHO WOULD PLAY SWAN?? What about Swan’s confused husband? Oh my god how much money did she make on horse semen? And IS there a TikTok beauty trend that we don’t know about?! ANSWER FOR YOUR CRIMES!! xoxox 10 out of 10 im a listener forever and now a patron goodbye!

Crimes are solved!!!

I just found this podcast a couple days ago and I can’t stop listening. I love it! The best part is we actually get to find out what happens in the crimes. But the chemistry between the hosts is great too. Definitely love, love, love!

Need friends? Say hello to your new besties

I started listening when they were about 50 episodes in and now I’m true crime obsessed. When I caught up to the latest episode I started looking for other podcasts and was disappointed. There really isn’t another like this. These two are my favorite to listen to as I can tell only the story is scripted. Thank you both for helping me get through busy weeks and providing me a fake social life - friends to gab with between meetings. Keep it up ladies!

It’s giving true crime

Look, I’m lazy as hell…so the fact that I actually took time to write this shows how great this podcast is! The stories are very interesting and well researched, and well presented. Kristin and Mogab are very funny and I love their dynamic! I would like to ask if they can maybe throw in some “creepy” content…like paranormal stories. I would love to hear Mogab’s thoughts on something like Mothman, haha. Love you guys and hope you read this. ♥️
