Galveston, 2001. A human torso washes up in the bay. Investigators identify the body as a man named Morris Black, and their investigation into the murder leads police to Robert Durst. They discover that not only does Durst belong to one of the wealthiest families in Manhattan, but that this murder may not have been his first. Back in 1982, his wife Kathleen disappeared, and no one has seen or heard from her since.
